Who would have thought that the invention of wheels would date back to ancient
Mesopotamia in the 5th millennium BC, when people then in existence used them
as potter’s
wheels? This is according to most authorities concerned on how the wheel came into
being. Others say that it could possibly have originated in China in 2800 BC.
Still there are claims that the Inca had wheel-like worked stone contraptions
that could be dated back to 1500 BC.
Wheels, generally, are circular objects that allow low friction motion. They
work with axles to be able to function as they rightfully should. The most common
use
of wheels is that they are the ones responsible for making transportations work.
Their other important role is in the development of technology in general, for
they spawned other related inventions like propellers and turbines.

Wheels have come a long way since semblances of them first manifested themselves
in ancient times. Now they are highly modernized, modish but efficient nonetheless.
From horse-driven chariots to the modern vehicles that represent this era, they
were and are still the best cohorts to a great travel experience. They have proven
themselves to be children of the millennia, spanning thousands of years to be

for the invention of such a simple yet functional contrivance meant to make everyday
