The environment is generously provided to all non-living and living things as the biggest part of our dwelling area. The least that the humankind can do is to reciprocate the goodness of the environment that is giving them by starting to correct the wrongful habits of their automobiles. Since the exhaust system is the most responsible part for the emissions, this should be checked for possible faulty parts. The mixture of the air and fuel in the engine system should be in the exact ratio so as to ensure that the emission is regulated and prevent any harmful gases to mix in with the air.

The mixture could only be identified if the oxygen sensor of the exhaust system can properly detect its ratio. If it is not working, the engine management computer of the vehicle cannot determine what action it should take to prevent the engine from using more amounts of fuel and greater dose of harmful emissions that endanger the environment life as well as those that inhabit it.
