Jeep Distributor
Car addicts always want the best out of their cars. There are some car aficionados
that accessorize or enhance their vehicles by installing auto accessories while
others spend lot of money just to make sure that their vehicles have the best
in terms of power. Installing carburetors and intake manifolds are some of the
ways these car aficionados do in their quest for power. But how often do these
car aficionados take a good look at their vehicle’s ignition system for performance
improvements? Sorry to say, but they don’t look at it often enough. What could
be the reason?
Maybe because they don’t understand how it works, right? But if they are really
true car enthusiasts, they need to know how their vehicle’s ignition system works
and how to tune it for superior performance. Well, here it goes. Your car’s ignition
system delivers voltage to ignite the fuel in the automotive vehicle with the
use of its components - the coil, condenser, distributor, CB points, high tension
cables and the spark plugs.

Among your ignition system’s components, it is the distributor that handles several
jobs. It distributes the high voltage from the coil to the correct cylinder, and
then breaks the current to the coil. In modern ignition systems, the distributor,
coil, points, and condenser have been replaced by solid-state electronics controlled
by a computer. This computer controls the ignition system and adjusts it to provide
maximum efficiency in different driving conditions.
If recently, you have noticed that your car’s engine has been running poorly,
perhaps some of your Jeep ignition system components are damaged. If in case you
found out that it is your Jeep distributor that is causing the problem, have it
replaced right away because malfunctioning Jeep distributors may cause a lot of
problem in the operation of your vehicle.
