Corner Lights

The exterior lights installed in a vehicle may be grouped into three. The first
group consists of those lights that illuminate the road ahead for safer driving.
Belonging to this group are the headlights and the fog lights. Another group,
which is made up of the taillights and the various marker lights, would simply
light up so that your vehicle can be seen by other drivers on the road. The last
group of auto exterior lights belongs to those that warn others about your driving
decisions. Among those lights are the
corner lights.
The corner lights, or corner lamps, are the pair of lamps, usually amber in color,
installed on the front corners of a vehicle. This pair of lights is usually the
outermost pair in the forward light assemblies in most vehicles. As their name
would imply, the main function of the corner lamps is to warn other drivers that
your vehicle is cornering. These lamps are often activated by the turn signal
switches or by the vehicle’s steering wheel.
Aside from its function as a safety component, corner lights have also become
a favorite among auto styling enthusiasts for customizing the look of a vehicle.
Stock corner lamps won’t be of so much help for this aesthetic function but custom
and replacement corner lamps are. There are many kinds of custom corner lamps
available in the market today and they come in a variety of styles and configurations.
The most popular among them are the clear corners and the Euro clear corner lamps.
So if the corner lamps of your vehicle are already damaged, busted, or worst,
wrecked, you better replace it immediately. It would not only look ugly in your
vehicle, it would also prove to be hazardous. If you are only concerned about
driving safety, then you may just opt for a plain replacement to the stock amber
corner lamps of your vehicle. But if you would also want to customize the look
of your vehicle, better equip it with the more stylish custom corner lamps.
