Before becoming a General Motors subsidiary, the Buick Motor Company was an independent automobile manufacturing company, established by David Dunbar Buick in 1903. Buick, however, did not become successful in his venture and was forced to sell the company in 1904 to James Whiting, who in turn employed William C. Durant to manage the new company. Later, Durant acquired more vehicle manufacturing company in his name and eventually became the founder of General Motors, the corporation who manufactures and sells the Buick today.

The current vehicle line-up of Buick is composed of the LaCrosse, Terraza, Rendezvous, Rainier, LeSabre, and Lucerine. Aside from these, Buick has also manufactured a lot of popular and luxurious vehicles in the past, including the Century, Regal, Riviera, Skylark and a lot of other vehicles. Since the General Motors was founded, Buick has been its second most luxurious offering. Today, it continues to be in that position, providing an alternative to car buyers who still can’t afford a Cadillac but has enough money to purchase a vehicle brand next to its level. Buick parts and vehicles also give an alternative to luxury vehicle buyers who simply does not like the style of the Cadillac.

So whenever you have to replace any part of your Buick, make sure that the replacement Buick part you would get would suit the luxuriousness and performance of your vehicle. For a Buick, just any vehicle part is not enough. It has to be an original Buick automotive part so you can be assured of its quality and performance. If you can’t find one, then make sure that the aftermarket or performance Buick part you’re going to purchase is worth installing in your Buick.
