Toyota Alternator
An alternator like the Toyota Alternator makes all the electrical parts and accessories
work. It is of essential function to headlights, ignition coils, engine cooling
fans, radio, air conditioning fans and many others. As most of us know that the
vehicle’s power is greatly and solely attributed to its battery. Maybe there’s
a truth in that but the truth is that power really comes from the gas tank. If
you’re wondering how this happened then the alternator will answer that query.

Alternator is the one connecting the gas tank and battery together. Power is
derived from the mechanical power coming from the crankshaft, transmits it through
the fan belt and makes the alternator work. In other words, Alternators convert
the power from the gasoline engine to electrical energy, keeping the battery in
perfect tip top condition. The next question now is, what will happen when the
alternator get busted?
The answer would be, no immediate effect will be seen. Given that you’re driving
when the alternator broke, it doesn’t mean that your car will also stop right
that very moment. This is because the battery still holds in it some reserved
power enough to make the engine run for quite some distance or time, depending
upon the condition of your battery, it can still run for about several miles away.
However, what if the reserved power runs out? The problem now would be the difficulty
of the engine to work properly. It may cause some serious damage like battery
running down, engine unable to fire on its cylinders and unburned fuel being burned
in the catalytic converter! Should you experience problems with your alternator,
replace it immediately to avoid further problems!
