GMC Compressor
All of us long for comfort. That is the reason why we furnish our homes with
the best and finest amenities that would provide us tranquility. This thing is
also true with our vehicles. When we are in the market for a new vehicle, we scrutinize
it; we try to find some comforting amenities that would make our ride more pleasurable.
Well, GMC vehicles possess all these things. While GMC vehicles are already known
for their powerful performances, you can still find them equipped with a lot of
comfort and convenient features which really makes them more enjoyable to drive.
Among those comfort and convenience features a GMC vehicle is equipped with is
the air conditioning system. But your GMC air conditioning system, of course,
will not work well if it’s not equipped with high-quality air conditioning parts.
One of the integral parts of your GMC air conditioning system is the GMC AC compressor.
Just as the human heart would pump blood for the circulatory system, your GMC
AC compressor would force the refrigerant to flow in a closed loop through the
various parts of the auto AC system.

The AC compressor driven by a belt connected to the vehicle’s engine’s crankshaft.
It “compresses” the Freon from a gas state into liquid and pumps the refrigerant
to the compressor and beyond. From there, the Freon goes to the condenser. The
compressed Freon is pushed through the system under pressure and is passed through
different size metal and rubber hoses and to the expansion valve, causing the
gas to expand and contract.
This expansion and contraction makes the Freon gas very cold. This cold gas makes
its way through the metal lines into the dash area of your automobile to the evaporator
core. Then, a small fan sits in front of the evaporator core and blows air across
this cold evaporator and then through the vents inside your vehicle. This is now
the reason why you and your passengers are kept comfortable while inside your
GMC. As with all other parts of a car's system, maintenance and care is very important
to keep the GMC AC compressor at its optimum performance and prevent any breakdown.
